About the Author

Rabbi Joe Bell is the founding rabbi of Lion of Judah Messianic Congregation and leads For Zion’s Sake Ministries in the Bristol, Tennessee, area. Born into an Orthodox Jewish family in Boston and Bar Mitzvahed at thirteen, he earned a B.A. in Spanish from the University of Vermont. He completed an independent study on the writings of Rabbi Joseph B. Soloveitchik. After a dramatic encounter with Yeshua the Messiah (Jesus Christ) on Valentine’s Day 1996, he and his wife, Dawn, a major-airline captain, traveled the U.S. and abroad (1997–1999) ministering through Jewish gospel music and evangelism. They have served the Bristol area since 1999. Rabbi Joe also hosts the television program Bible Prophecy Now with Rabbi Joe. He and Dawn have two grown sons who live in Bristol, TN.
