Author and Speaker Tammy Hotsenpiller Takes Readers to the Next Level With Their Fasting Journey
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASELake Mary, Fla.—Author, speaker and life coach Tammy Hotsenpiller is encouraging readers to go deeper in their relationship with Christ in her book, Fasting With God (ISBN-13: 978-1-63641-271-9). Unlike other fasting materials, Hotsenpiller doesn’t just share why readers should fast but provides helpful tips and empowerment so they can persevere through the course of a 21-day fast to grow in intimacy with God.
“Fasting without the knowledge of who God is becomes just a ritual or routine,” Hotsenpiller writes. “My desire for you is to understand and comprehend the personal names of God and the power and authority that come through His name.”
For Hotsenpiller, fasting is about so much more than trying to live a healthy lifestyle or pleading to get something out of God. It’s about taking genuine time to strengthen and nourish her relationship with Christ. This is something she wants readers to experience too.
“In the Old Testament, we often see people fasting in a time of crisis; in the New Testament, we see Jesus fasted for His calling,” Hotsenpiller writes. “We should fast during problems and as a testimony of God’s power and sufficiency in our lives.”
Fasting with God will guide readers to seek God’s face and encourage them with fifteen-minute videos for each day of their fast. Fasting doesn’t have to be self-seeking. It can provide the refreshment necessary to grow closer to the Lord.
“Don’t rush your devotion time with God. Make this experience a priority and a self-discovery of all that God has for your life,” Hotsenpiller writes.
Fasting With God, published by Charisma House, releases on September 5, 2023, and is available online and wherever books are sold.
