Don’t Let the Devil Steal Your Miracles

Don’t Let the Devil Steal Your Miracles

Don’t let the devil steal God’s miracles out of your life. It’s time for you to wake up spiritually and honor the Lord Jesus Christ, bless Him, and glorify His name.

The Lord gives us 86,400 seconds every day. Each of those seconds is a gift. Have you thanked Him for these gifts? Have you stopped and thanked God for the miracles He has done in your life? Don’t forget that remembering the miracles of the Lord is your weapon for the next fight, the next battle when the devil shows up and pushes you to question, Will God do it again? Will He show up? Does He hear my prayers?

Don’t miss the fact that God gave each of the disciples a basket of leftovers after He fed the five thousand. There were twelve baskets left—one for each of them—and they still failed to remember the blessings and miracles of the Lord. I think that holds a lesson for us.

Don’t forget about your basket; hold on to it. When the devil shows up at your next fight, on your next battlefield, you know what to do. You have the mind of Christ (1 Cor. 2:16). You have memories of the goodness of the Lord, and you have testimonies of His miracles. Put the devil on your channel; don’t let him put you on his. When the devil attacks you with his lies, take your basket, hold it in his face, and say, “My basket is full of miracles and testimonies. You don’t want none of this. You need to step off and take your deception and your demonic dementia somewhere else because I have the mind of Christ.” When the enemy shows up to your next fight, hit him over the head with your basketful of miracles.

Have you heard of Formula 409? It’s an all-purpose cleaning spray used around the home. The story goes that it was created by two people who lived in Michigan, and they called it Formula 409 because it took them 409 times to get the formula correct. Don’t be a 409 Christian who takes 409 times to get it right. Let’s get it right the first time. Let’s extend our victories to our next victory. Don’t allow the devil to live in the in-between by giving in to murmuring, forgetfulness, complaining, or spiritual dementia.

I’m going to sing a song in every battle. Every chance I get, I’m going to sing Moses’ song. This is my jam in my miracle times and in my battles. This is how the song goes:

I will sing to the Lord, for he is highly exalted. Both horse and driver he has hurled into the sea. The Lord is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him. The Lord is a warrior; the Lord is his name. Pharaoh’s chariots and his army were hurled into the sea. The best of Pharaoh’s officers are drowned in the Red Sea. The deep waters have covered them; they sank to the depths like a stone. Your right hand, Lord, was majestic in power. Your right hand, Lord, shattered the enemy. In the greatness of your majesty, you threw down those who opposed you. You unleashed your burning anger; it consumed them like stubble. By the blast of your nostrils, the waters piled up. The surging waters stood up like a wall; the deep waters congealed in the heart of the sea. The enemy boasted, “I will pursue, I will overtake them. I will divide the spoils; I will gorge myself on them. I will draw my sword and my hand will destroy them.” But you blew with your breath, and the sea covered them. They sank like lead in the mighty waters. Who among the gods is like you, Lord? Who is like you—majestic in holiness, awesome in glory, working wonders? You stretch out your right hand, and the earth swallows your enemies. In your unfailing love, you will lead the people you have redeemed. In your strength, you will guide them to your holy dwelling. The nations will hear and tremble… By the power of your arm, they will be as still as a stone—until your people pass by, Lord, until the people you bought pass by. You will bring them in and plant them on the mountain of your inheritance—the place, Lord, you made for your dwelling, the sanctuary, Lord, your hands established. The Lord reigns forever and ever.

—Exodus 15:1–14, 16–18

That is our victory song in the One who lives forever, who sits on the circle of the earth, and who’s got your back every time. That’s my victory song; let it be yours too.
